The museum opened in April 1994 as a private contemporary art museum. We hold seminars, tea ceremonies, symposiums, concerts, etc. centering on solo exhibitions of artists who are currently in progress, so that you can feel unfamiliar with contemporary art more closely. We are trying to create a space where visitors can enjoy themselves in their own way. Take a break from everyday life and spend a relaxing time in the tea lounge surrounded by bamboo forests.
In addition to special exhibitions held every 2 to 3 months, the collection of Joseph Beuys (Germany), one of the representative artists of the postwar period, which is rarely seen in Japan, will be on display, as well as works by Nam June Paik and Lee Ufan. I have a permanent exhibition of my work.
