British House in Yokohama

British House in Yokohama

It was built in 1937 as the official residence of the British Consul General. It is a two-story reinforced concrete building with a stately British design, and the high placement of the doorknobs suggests that it was once home to British residents. It is adjacent to the rose garden in Minato Mirai Park, and in May, June, October and November, you can enjoy the scent of colorful roses.
