Starting December 16th, 2017, JEREMY'S will be hosting a one-hour live jazz flute performance, including jazz flute and improvisation, once a month on Saturdays from 2pm to 3pm.
Our interior is inspired by the New York coffee houses of the 1950s and 60s that Jeremy often painted. Jeremy began performing at coffee houses while still in high school, and said, "I would hang out there after school, drawing on napkins and hanging out with the staff and entertainers." Customers would tip coins into a passed-around hat, and the place could be considered the roots of musician Jeremy Steig. In memory of him, we hope to invite you to enjoy the creative and unique flute music of contemporary flutists while remembering the young Jeremy. (Due to the limitations of the building, we will be using an electronic piano.)
