I have been involved in the art world for about a quarter century, mainly in New York, USA, but also in Fukuoka and Yokohama, since 1990. In 2007, I opened Fujimura Contemporary Art on Craftsmanship Street in Motomachi, Yokohama, a very international area.

We are an art gallery that produces total promotion with the above four pillars of business. In particular, we have a strong track record in discovering, nurturing, and promoting artists. We present new works that overturn preconceived ideas while drawing out the artist's full potential. We also add new ideas to the artist's specialty techniques, nurturing new styles or works that transcend genres, and nurturing unknown areas that the artist would not have been able to challenge on their own, and then promote them.
We will continue to grow by taking advantage of our unique characteristics of dealing with artworks (artists) from a global perspective while remaining closely connected to the local area of Yokohama Motomachi. We hope that you will continue to support Fujimura Contemporary Art.
