Odawara Civic Hall (nicknamed Odawara San-no-maru Hall) opened on September 5, 2021, in a privileged location overlooking Odawara Castle, a symbol of the area, just a 13-minute walk from Odawara Station. It is a new cultural and artistic hub that inherits the history of the Odawara Civic Hall, which closed in July of the same year after 59 years of being cherished by many citizens.
In operating this facility, we will actively cooperate with neighboring facilities, including the adjacent Odawara City Tourism Exchange Center, based on the Odawara City Cultural Town Development Ordinance enacted in April 2020. We will strive to create a fun and attractive space that allows people to feel closer to Odawara City, which is rich in nature and has long-standing traditions, while taking into account the voices of the citizens.
