"Exchange," installed at Ayase City Hall, is a public art piece that is a dynamic art form (stainless steel mobile) made of stainless steel.
As the title "Exchange" suggests, the work expresses the warm connections and interplay of energy between citizens and government, local communities and the world, and between people. The smooth shine of the metal and the geometric forms reveal rich expressions in response to the changing wind and light.
The delicate, ever-changing structure evokes the vitality of a city that maintains harmony despite constant change, and the sense of future expansion woven by the encounters of each individual citizen. In a place like City Hall, where diverse people gather, it serves as a symbol that gives visitors a refreshing and approachable impression.
