Opened in March 2003, this museum houses approximately 2,500 archaeological, historical, art, and ethnographic artifacts, as well as 25,000 documentary materials, donated to Yokohama City by Orientalist Namio Egami. The museum displays the cultures of various parts of Eurasia, divided into sections such as "Deserts and Grasslands," "Colors and Forms," "Techniques," "Adornment," "Transmission," and "Exchange."
