The Tin Toy Museum has a permanent display of approximately 3,000 toys made primarily in Japan from the 1890s to the 1960s. This is part of the collection that Director Kitahara has collected since around 1973. It opened in April 1986 with the hope that many people would see it. Tin toys on display in a museum that was renovated from an old Western-style building. Why not go back to the days when you were crazy about playing in Yokohama, which is filled with an exotic and exotic atmosphere, lined with foreign cemeteries and old churches?
