Founded in 1933, it is one of the oldest jazz cafes in Japan. Its founder, Mamoru Yoshida, has continued to create a "shop for listening to music" since its establishment, and was deeply involved in the Yokohama music scene not only as the owner of the jazz cafe, but also as a planner and guardian, remaining with jazz until the end of his life. It is currently run as a general incorporated foundation.
