Founded in 1933, it is one of the oldest jazz cafes in Japan. Its founder, Mamoru Yoshida, has continued to create a place for listening to music since its founding, and was deeply involved in the Yokohama music scene not only as the owner of the jazz cafe but also as a planner and guardian, remaining closely connected to jazz until the end of his life. It is currently run as a general incorporated foundation.
