Kasuya no Mori Museum of Contemporary Art

Kasuya no Mori Museum of Contemporary Art
The museum opened in April 1994 as a private contemporary art museum. We hold seminars, tea parties, symposiums, concerts, and other events, centering on solo exhibitions of artists currently in progress, so that you can become more familiar with contemporary art that you may not be familiar with. We strive to create a space where each visitor can enjoy their time in their own way. Take a break from your daily routine and enjoy a relaxing moment in our tea lounge surrounded by a bamboo forest.

In addition to special exhibitions held every two to three months, there will also be exhibitions centered on the collection of Joseph Beuys (Germany), one of the leading post-war artists who are rarely seen in Japan, as well as works by artists such as Nam June Paik and Lee Ufan. The works are on permanent display.
