"William Adams, aka Miura Anjin" - A story told through songs
A recital featuring British songs by British countertenor Fergal Mostyn-Williams and pianist Marie Otaka. The original program focuses on the life of William Adams (Miura Anjin), the first British person to visit Japan, who served Ieyasu and took control of Yokosuka, and who died in Japan. Narrated by actor Daiki Takeuchi, the program tells a story through songs.

Our museum opened in April 1994 as a private contemporary art museum. In order to make less familiar contemporary art more accessible to visitors, we hold seminars, tea ceremonies, symposiums, concerts, etc., focusing on solo exhibitions of current artists. We strive to create a space where visitors can enjoy their time in their own way.
