820 Theatre Company "Coexistence with Vampires, or Variations on Death"
--Summer. The dead have arrived.
People were in dismay. It was hard to imagine that something like this could happen.

People hated the dead, avoided them, isolated them, pushed them to the margins, and monitored them. Marches were held all over the country to denounce those who protected the dead. New laws regarding funerals were called for. The government was still in a state of confusion. The numbers surrounding deaths were one thing, but the reality of death was the domain of temples, shrines, and churches.
　　
So that we may not be consumed by the horrors of this age, so that we, creatures endowed with death, may enjoy our lot.

A modern horror elegy confronting massacre, plunder and naked barbarism.
