"Kanagawa Philharmonic Junior Orchestra 2025" Graduation Concert
"A special day playing with the pros - Summer vacation, on the musical stage"
The Kanagawa Philharmonic Junior Orchestra is an orchestra made up of aspiring musical students from the 4th grade of elementary school to the 3rd grade of high school. Members of the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra will serve as instructors and provide direct instruction in a total of 7 seminars during the summer vacation period. A special concert will be held to showcase the results, and you can see the students who aim to be future musicians grow through learning from leading performers through actual performances.
The harmony of the orchestra is created by the instructors and students working together in unison. Please enjoy the joy and passion of music, and the wonderful collaboration across generations.
100 people will be selected by lottery to attend this performance.
In addition, only the second part, the graduation concert, will be streamed live on our YouTube channel.

Kanagawa Art Hall
It was built in April 1992, almost in the center of the lush Kanagawa Prefectural Hodogaya Park, as a cultural facility to support the artistic and cultural activities of the prefecture's residents. In an environment colored by nature throughout the four seasons, it is used as a place for practicing and presenting artistic activities such as music, theater, and dance. In addition, the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, the only professional orchestra in Kanagawa Prefecture, opens its rehearsals to the public, allowing visitors to experience excellent music up close. |
