SUPER OPEN STUDIO 2025

Launched in 2013, "SUPER OPEN STUDIO" (hereafter "SOS") is a project that simultaneously opens to the public the studios of artists in the Sagamihara area for a limited period of time. This area is home to several art universities, and many artists reside there, creating their works in studios converted from warehouses and abandoned factories. In this area, which can be described as "one of Japan's leading art production areas," various projects are being carried out, making use of the networks that have been built between studios and artists.
In 2025, 20 studios will participate, and during the event, there will be a bus tour to visit the studios with the artists, as well as a stamp rally to collect original stamps from each studio. Continuing from last year, Vol. 2 of "Studios and " "" is a project that aims to create an opportunity to get to know the artists by using "studios" and other interesting words as a starting point, and has published a free map-style paper with the theme of "collecting."
