Recording Artists' Lives and Works - The Past and Future of SUPER OPEN STUDIO
This event is a talk event related to the book "SUPER OPEN STUDIO - A Collection of Production and Lifestyle," which was published to commemorate the 10th anniversary of "SUPER OPEN STUDIO," which began in 2013.
Our guests will be Takuya Nakao, the editor and author of the book, and Shintaro Wada, who is active in a wide range of fields, including directing art projects.
Sagamihara City is home to a growing network of over 100 active artists, creating a unique ecosystem where creative work and everyday life intersect.
"SUPER OPEN STUDIO" is an art project that began in 2013 with the main focus on opening the studios (production sites) of local artists to the public. At this event, critics, artists, and curators will discuss the act of "documenting" art from their respective perspectives, using documents such as "SUPER OPEN STUDIO - A Collective of Production and Life."
