Screening Schedule

Cinema Jack & Betty, an independent movie theater with two screens, Yokohama's last art house theater, Jack, and the only independent mini-theater, Betty, opened in December 1991. Its predecessor was Yokohama Meigaza, which opened on December 25, 1952 (Showa 27) immediately after the GHQ took over the area. Cinema Jack & Betty was in danger of closing twice after that, but in 2007, the current manager Kajiwara and assistant manager Kobayashi, who were still in their 20s at the time, quit their jobs and took over the theater's history.
