Kanagawa Philharmonic Junior Orchestra 2026 Graduation Concert
"A Special Day Playing with Professionals ~Summer Vacation, Take to the Music Stage~"
The Kanagawa Philharmonic Junior Orchestra is comprised of students from the 4th grade of elementary school to the 3rd year of high school. Members of the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra serve as instructors, providing direct guidance through a total of seven workshops during the summer vacation.
This year, the graduation concert, the culmination of their studies, will be held on Saturday, August 23rd. Students who have grown under the guidance of leading musicians will take to the stage with their instructors and deliver the harmony of an orchestra. Please come and experience the joy and passion of music, and the感動 (deep emotion) of performing together across generations.

Kanagawa Art Hall
Built in April 1992, almost in the center of the lush green Hodogaya Park in Kanagawa Prefecture, this cultural facility was constructed to support the artistic and cultural activities of the citizens of Kanagawa Prefecture. Surrounded by the beauty of nature throughout the seasons, it is used as a venue for practicing and performing arts such as music, theater, and dance. In addition, the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, the only professional orchestra in Kanagawa Prefecture, opens its rehearsals to the public, allowing people to experience excellent music up close. |
