Yokohama City Port Opening Memorial Hall (Jack)

Yokohama City Port Opening Memorial Hall (Jack)

The towers that represent Yokohama are the ``King'' of Kanagawa Prefectural Office, ``Queen'' of Yokohama Customs, and ``Jack'' of Yokohama City Port Opening Memorial Hall. It is said that in the early Showa era, when there were no tall buildings yet, sailors on foreign ships affectionately referred to these towers that could be seen from Yokohama Port, prayed to these towers for safe voyages, and used them as a landmark when entering port. . In memory of the people of the past, there is now a legend that if you visit the spots where you can see the three towers, your wish will come true. Every year on March 10th, various events are held as Santo Day.
