The three towers that represent Yokohama are "King" at the Kanagawa Prefectural Office, "Queen" at Yokohama Customs, and "Jack" at Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall. In the early Showa period, when there were no tall buildings yet, sailors of foreign ships affectionately called these towers visible from Yokohama Port, and it is said that they prayed to these towers for a safe voyage and used them as landmarks when entering the port. In honor of these people of the past, there is a legend that if you visit the spots where you can get a panoramic view of the three towers, your wishes will come true. Every year on March 10th, various events are held as "Three Towers Day."
