René Lalique was a jewelry and glass artist who lived through the Art Nouveau and Art Deco eras.
At the Hakone Lalique Museum, you can see works spanning Lalique's lifetime, from jewelry that shines like stained glass to glass art that brightened everyday life.
Along with works themed around nature, which Lalique loved so much, the beautiful garden, which changes its appearance with the seasons, is also one of the highlights.
There is also a special exhibit of the Orient Express, a luxury train whose interior was designed by Lalique in the past. On board, you can enjoy an exquisite tea time that can only be experienced here. (Tea time on the Orient Express requires a reservation on the day of the trip.)
Enjoy a wonderful holiday in a place where nature and art resonate with each other, enriching your soul.
