This museum is popular for its circular permanent exhibition rooms with no set route, and its extensive collection of special exhibitions that are held five to six times a year.
This is the only museum that covers the history of Yokohama, from primitive and ancient times to modern times. We also hold a variety of events such as the manufacturing workshop ``Rekishi Kobo'' and lectures and lectures.
In addition, adjacent to the museum is the Otsuka Toshikatsudo Ruins Park, where the Yayoi period villages, including pit dwellings, have been restored. Volunteer guides are available to provide explanations of the ruins park at any time.
