A full-fledged general theater that harmonizes European tradition with state-of-the-art stage equipment
In the design of the theater, we give top priority to beautiful, natural acoustics and a sense of unity between the stage and the audience. Inheriting the tradition of the era when European opera theaters were the most brilliant, a full-fledged theater with horseshoe-shaped seats, which is rare in Japan, was born. Equipped with ample space on the stage and top-class facilities and functions even in Japan, this theater can host a wide variety of performing arts, including opera, ballet, and musicals. At this theater, students participate in various performances and gain practical experience by creating the stage. In preparation for performances that require sound correction by equipment, the "Wave Front Sculpture Speaker System" is used as the main speaker of the house, with almost no sound field difference due to phase interference, with the main purpose of acoustic correction. It can accurately represent everything from operas, which require fine and detailed sounds, to general music performances, which require a specific volume.
