Symphony Ayase

Symphony Ayase

"Symphony Ayase" is a large ceramic relief artwork created by Louis Fransen, a ceramic artist and muralist from Belgium.

Based on the theme of "water cycle and the regeneration of life," which is the essence of the water purification management center, the artwork powerfully expresses the harmony between Ayase City's rich nature and urban environment. The vibrant blue lines that undulate throughout the entire piece symbolize the abundant flow of water that circulates through the city and nurtures life. The combination of three-dimensional parts that make use of the warm texture of ceramic material creates a sense of dynamism, like a "symphony" played out by the interplay of water, greenery, and people's lives.
