Art Gallery Yamate is a place that promotes various forms of art, primarily through "rental gallery space" and "special exhibitions," working together with artists and the local community to showcase paintings, photographs, calligraphy, ceramics, and other handicrafts, without being limited by genre. It is located halfway up Yatozaka slope, which leads to the scenic Harbor View Park, and from the windows you can enjoy the Yokohama Marine Tower, a symbol of Yokohama, as well as the cherry blossom trees in spring, fireworks in summer, and autumn leaves in fall, enjoying the scenery of each season. In front of you are the trees of France Hill, and further up the slope are Western-style buildings, creating a wonderful atmosphere surrounded by an exotic feel. If you go down the slope, you will find Motomachi Shopping Street, and further on, Chinatown.
