Art Gallery Yamate is a place where artists and locals can come together to spread a variety of art, with a focus on rental art gallery and special exhibitions, and regardless of genre, including paintings, photography, calligraphy, ceramics, and other handicrafts. It is located halfway up Yatozaka, heading towards Minato no Mieru Park, which has a beautiful view, and from the window you can enjoy seasonal views, including Yokohama's symbolic Marine Tower, rows of cherry blossom trees in spring, fireworks in summer, and autumn leaves in autumn. It is in a wonderful location surrounded by an exotic atmosphere, with the trees of Mount France right in front of you and Western-style buildings lined up at the top of the hill. Going down the hill will take you to Motomachi Shopping Street, and going further you will find Chinatown.
