Art Gallery Yamate is a place where artists and locals can come together to spread a variety of art, with a focus on rental art gallery and special exhibitions, and is not limited to any particular genre, including paintings, photography, calligraphy, ceramics, and other handicrafts. It is located midway up Yatozaka, heading towards Minato no Mieru Park, which has a beautiful view, and from the windows you can enjoy seasonal views, including Yokohama's iconic Marine Tower, rows of cherry blossom trees in spring, fireworks in summer, and autumn leaves in autumn. It is in a wonderful location surrounded by an exotic atmosphere, with the trees of Mount France right in front of you and Western-style buildings lined up at the top of the hill. Going down the hill you will find Motomachi Shopping Street, and going further you will find Chinatown.
