Illuminations 2022 in the Minato Mirai area
It's finally December.
Various illumination events are being held in the Minato Mirai area again this year. This area has beautiful night views all year round, but during the Christmas season it's especially special, and you're sure to feel even more excited than usual.

Christmas Market at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse
The Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse will once again be hosting a Christmas market this year. This marks the 13th year of this event, as the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse has ties to Germany. You'll be able to experience the authentic German atmosphere, which is said to be one of the birthplaces of Christmas markets. Around a 10-meter-tall Christmas tree, there will be a lineup of not only delicious German food and drinks, but also Christmas wreaths and ornaments, all adding to the Christmas spirit.
Yorunoyo -YOKOHAMA CROSS NIGHT ILLUMINATION-
The town and light art illumination "Yorunoyo" will be held again this year.
Based on the theme of this year's event, "GROW," the area from Shinko Central Square to Osanbashi Pier Building to Yamashita Park will be beautifully illuminated with light and sound.
At the main venue, Shinko Central Square, there is a walking illumination event where you can enjoy walking around the CROSS DOME, surrounded by scattered light objects and music. You can also enjoy various illuminations at the Osanbashi Pier Building and Yamashita Park.
Yokohama Landmark Tower "Christmas" 2022
A large Christmas tree appears at Landmark Plaza every year at this time. This year, Yokohama Landmark Tower and Mark Is Minatomirai, in partnership with Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment, are holding a Christmas-only event, "MINATOMIRAI CHRISTMAS 2022: A Journey to Discover the Wizarding World of Harry Potter." Based on this theme, an approximately 8-meter-tall Christmas tree has appeared as the "Harry Potter Hogwarts Magical Tree," and the evening show will allow visitors to experience the magical world. © & ™ Warner Bros. Yokohama Mirait
Yokohama Mirai Light is an event that will illuminate a total distance of approximately 1.5km in blue light from the east exit of Yokohama Station to Sakura Street in the Minato Mirai area. This year marks the fifth year of one of Yokohama's largest illuminations, and to commemorate this, a street piano will be set up in the Art Square in Grand Mall Park for a limited time from December 1st to 25th, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful illuminations and music. It is also possible to play the piano yourself, so this is an event recommended for those who want to enjoy the light and sound. Why not come and check it out?
