Thoroughly individual, thrilling stage performances – Coexistence and co-creation projects

In Kanagawa Prefecture, in order to contribute to the realization of a "Kanagawa where we can all live together," the prefecture is implementing the "Inclusive Co-creation Project" in the field of culture and arts, with the goal of "Living together, creating together," so that everyone, from children to adults, regardless of age or disability, can participate in and enjoy performing arts.

A project called "Challenge of the Silver," in which world-renowned dancer Yoko Ando creates new dance expressions with seniors aged 60 and over in Kanagawa Prefecture, and a performance by the senior theater group "Odawara Senior Theater Chiliak Oldies," based in Odawara City, will be held.

Contemporary dancer Yoko Ando and senior citizens have been exploring new forms of expression. Now, for their first theatrical performance, 50 seniors will gather in Odawara.

The setting is the rehearsal room of a senior citizens' theater troupe. A single remark from the lead actress stirs up a storm in the rehearsal room.
The assistant director holds his head in his hands. The other members give up, utterly defeated. The CEO laughs foolishly.
The clock keeps ticking. Each of the three individuals, harboring their own different thoughts and feelings, tries to push forward as far as they can. Will they be able to make it in time for the performance? And what is the true meaning behind the leading actress's words...?
