Yokosuka Museum of Art

Yokosuka Museum of Art

This art museum is built on the scenic Kannonzaki site at the eastern tip of the Miura Peninsula. In addition to six special exhibitions annually, it showcases modern and contemporary Japanese art in its permanent collection, and the Rokuro Taniuchi Annex features works by Rokuro Taniuchi, an artist who depicted Japan during the Showa era, with exhibits changing regularly. Its attractions include a rich natural environment, unique architecture, and a superb view overlooking Tokyo Bay, which has earned it a place as a museum with a spectacular view. The museum also boasts excellent facilities, including a restaurant serving Italian cuisine made with local ingredients and a museum shop.

<Access> From Keikyu Line "Mabori-kaigan Station", take the Keikyu Bus "bound for Kannonzaki" and get off at "La Vista Kannonzaki Terrace/Yokosuka Museum of Art" bus stop, then walk for 2 minutes.
