An art museum built in the scenic Kannonzaki area at the eastern end of the Miura Peninsula. In addition to six special exhibitions a year, the collection exhibition introduces modern and contemporary Japanese art, and the annex Rokuro Taniuchi Museum exhibits works by Rokuro Taniuchi, an artist who painted Japan's Showa era, on a rotating basis. It has a rich natural environment, unique architecture, and an outstanding view of Tokyo Bay that has been selected as a scenic art museum. There are also plenty of facilities such as a restaurant where you can enjoy Italian cuisine made with local ingredients, and a museum shop.
<Access> Take the Keikyu Bus bound for Kannonzaki from Umahori Kaigan Station on the Keikyu Line and get off at Kannonzaki Keikyu Hotel/Yokosuka Museum of Art, then walk for 2 minutes.
