Yokosuka Museum of Art

Yokosuka Museum of Art

An art museum built in the scenic Kannonzaki area at the eastern end of the Miura Peninsula. In addition to six special exhibitions a year, the collection exhibition introduces modern and contemporary Japanese art, and the annex Rokuro Taniuchi Museum exhibits works by Rokuro Taniuchi, an artist who painted Japan's Showa era, on a rotating basis. It has a rich natural environment, unique architecture, and an outstanding view of Tokyo Bay that has been selected as a scenic art museum. There are also plenty of facilities such as a restaurant where you can enjoy Italian cuisine made with local ingredients, and a museum shop.

<Access> Take the Keikyu Bus bound for Kannonzaki from Umahori Kaigan Station on the Keikyu Line and get off at Kannonzaki Keikyu Hotel/Yokosuka Museum of Art, then walk for 2 minutes.
