Double Planet Episode 10

Double Planet
Episode 10: I Have Business in the Night Sky
Tamaru Luka (Furuta Jun & Kanda Yota / Radio Shonan Personality)
Neither side by side, nor far apart. We were walking, maintaining a distance that could be described as subtle or exquisite. If what he said was true, then he was none other than Satoru Blue, a listener of "Love & Music," in other words, Aono Satoru. The moment I heard that, my mind went blank. I couldn't believe that something like this was happening to me. I also thought: maybe he was actually an important character in a reality show, and I just hadn't been told about it. I looked around me in 360 degrees just to be sure, but there were no cameras that looked like they might be there.
"If it's okay...can I come with you?"
When I said I wanted to go to the beach, Aono-kun said he wanted to go too. I actually wanted to go alone, but I was worried about him after he had dove onto the platform and fallen, so it wasn't an atmosphere in which I could refuse.
"It's fine though."
A curt reply. A completely cold response.
As I started walking, Aono-kun followed quietly behind me.
There was also the awkwardness of replying to a Twitter message saying, "I can't meet you."
I thought I said we couldn't meet, but somehow things ended up going around in circles.
In the end, I didn't receive any reply from Aono after that, so only he knows what he's thinking.
Maybe deep down she's angry. Maybe she thinks I'm just pretending to be a good girl who doesn't easily meet the opposite sex. Of course, I don't have the courage to question her about it.
We cross National Route 134, keeping an eye on the passing cars, and descend the sandy steps that lead to the seaside. No matter how many times I experience this feeling, my heart still beats faster. It's coming! It's coming! My sense of anticipation grows.
As I stepped onto the sand with both feet, the setting sun painted a straight golden road on the surface of the sea.
"...Amazing."
Aono muttered with a sigh. He quickly took out his smartphone from his pocket and pointed the camera at the sunset. Watching him, I couldn't help but say it.
"I don't think it will come out beautifully because of the backlight."
"Oh, really?"
Aono pressed the shutter button half-believing. He immediately checked the photo and showed it to me with a wry smile. As expected, the setting sun was reflecting off it in all directions, making it hard to tell what was in the photo.
"It's as Tamaru-san says."
"I don't think a machine can preserve this beauty."
"It seems so."
"If you don't want to forget, you have no choice but to burn it into your memory."
Huh? I'm having a normal conversation with Aono-kun.
I thought I was on guard, but before I knew it, I had disarmed myself as the sun set.
"It was my first time seeing the sun sink into the ocean."
It didn't sound like something someone born and raised in this town would say.
"Aren't you coming to the beach or something?"
"Yeah. It's been a while since I last looked up at the sky like this."
Sky.
I don't know if Aono-kun said "sky" on purpose.
But now, I definitely said "sky."
I wonder if he's going to touch on that topic from here.
"Why did you come here, Tamaru-san?"
In fact, after that, Natsuki and I read through the script for "Sky and Puzzle" and found a few points that needed to be revised. The script was incomplete as it was. That was the opinion that Natsuki and I both shared. That's why I came here looking for hints. To make our "Sky and Puzzle" even better.
Today I have business in the night sky.
"The sun has set."
Aono-kun said exactly what he saw out loud.
Is he a thoughtful person or a childish person? I'm not quite sure what that is.
But the sun certainly did set.
Soon the orange color will disappear and the sky will turn dark blue.
"You want to hear about 'Sky and Puzzles' from me, don't you?"
I was getting impatient so I brought it up myself.
"I agree"
Isn't that right? Eh, it's someone else's problem?
After saying that, Aono-kun closed his mouth like a clam and fell silent.
I was a little annoyed.
I made the first move, and now it's my turn?
This guy seemed to have been very spoiled growing up.
Yes, yes, I see. So you want me to say it first. I get it. I get it.
"You can talk to me."
"Oh, is that okay?! Really?!!"
Aono-kun's excitement level instantly increased and he looked at me next to him.
After all, he was waiting for me to bring it up.
I can't forgive it.
Even though he wrote such passionate things in his message, he was so naive and dependent on others.
I can't forgive it.
Don't think important information is that easy to come by.
I wanted to test his sincerity.
"I'll talk to you, but on one condition."
"conditions?"
"I can tell you later at night."
"picture……"
"If you can wait here with me until night."
"to be continued"
