Episode 10: I Have Business in the Night Sky

Neither side by side, nor far apart. We were walking, maintaining a distance that could be described as subtle or exquisite. If what he said was true, then he was none other than Satoru Blue, a listener of "Love & Music," in other words, Aono Satoru. The moment I heard that, my mind went blank. I couldn't believe that something like this was happening to me. I also thought: maybe he was actually an important character in a reality show, and I just hadn't been told about it. I looked around me in 360 degrees just to be sure, but there were no cameras that looked like they might be there.

"If it's okay...can I come with you?"

When I said I wanted to go to the beach, Aono-kun said he wanted to go too. I actually wanted to go alone, but I was worried about him after he had dove onto the platform and fallen, so it wasn't an atmosphere in which I could refuse.

As I started walking, Aono-kun followed quietly behind me.

There was also the awkwardness of replying to a Twitter message saying, "I can't meet you."
I thought I said we couldn't meet, but somehow things ended up going around in circles.
In the end, I didn't receive any reply from Aono after that, so only he knows what he's thinking.
Maybe deep down she's angry. Maybe she thinks I'm just pretending to be a good girl who doesn't easily meet the opposite sex. Of course, I don't have the courage to question her about it.

Huh? I'm having a normal conversation with Aono-kun.
I thought I was on guard, but before I knew it, I had disarmed myself as the sun set.

"It was my first time seeing the sun sink into the ocean."

It didn't sound like something someone born and raised in this town would say.

"Aren't you coming to the beach or something?"
"Yeah. It's been a while since I last looked up at the sky like this."

I don't know if Aono-kun said "sky" on purpose.
But now, I definitely said "sky."

"Why did you come here, Tamaru-san?"

In fact, after that, Natsuki and I read through the script for "Sky and Puzzle" and found a few points that needed to be revised. The script was incomplete as it was.
