Odawara Senior Theater Group Chiliak Oldies
Truly, it's a stormy day / a festival day.
Odawara Senior Theatre Group Chiliak Oldies is a senior theatre group based in Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
It was established in October 2020 as part of the "Inclusive Co-creation Project" implemented by Kanagawa Prefecture, which aims to enable all people, regardless of age or disability, to participate in and enjoy performing arts.
We hold a performance every year to showcase the results of our training, but in 2020 and 2021, we held it via online streaming, so this will be the first time we welcome an audience to the theater.
Please come and see the play written by project leader Hirofumi Oshima, which will be performed by senior members who will showcase their individual talents.

Kanagawa Prefecture Play Song Project "Let's Play with Songs from Around the World"
A world children's song interactive concert
Many people with foreign roots live in Kanagawa Prefecture. The Kanagawa Prefecture Play Song Project, "Let's Play with Songs from Around the World," aims to promote understanding of and rediscover the charm of multinational and multiculturalism through play songs that can be enjoyed by people from all walks of life. We research play songs from around the world and arrange them with musicians and choreographers so that children living in Japan can enjoy them. We introduce these songs through lecture videos and digital leaflets that include how to play, the stories behind the songs, and their cultural backgrounds. At this event, let's experience multiculturalism with family and friends through play songs, and let's all experience cooperation, imagination, and creation together!
