Odawara Senior Theatre Company Chiliac Oldies
It's really a stormy day/festival day
Odawara Senior Theater Chiliac Oldies is a senior theater troupe based in Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture.
It was established in October 2020 as part of the "Coexistence and Co-creation Project" implemented by Kanagawa Prefecture, which enables everyone to participate in and enjoy performing arts, regardless of age or disability.
We hold a performance every year to showcase the results of our rehearsals, but since these were streamed online in 2020 and 2021, this will be the first time we will be welcoming audiences to the theater.
Please come and see the play written by project leader Oshima Hiroshi, which will be performed by seniors using their own unique personalities.

Kanagawa Prefecture Play Song Project "Let's play with songs from around the world"
A hands-on concert of world play songs
Many people with foreign roots live in Kanagawa Prefecture. The Kanagawa Prefecture Play Song Project "Let's Play with Songs from Around the World" aims to promote understanding of and rediscover the appeal of multinationality and multiculturalism through "play songs" that various people can enjoy together. We research "play songs" from around the world and arrange them with musicians and choreographers so that children living in Japan can enjoy them. We introduce them through lecture videos and digital leaflets that include how to play, stories related to the songs, and cultural backgrounds. At this event, let's experience multiculturalism with family and friends through "play songs" and experience cooperation, imagination, and creation together!
