Yamayurien × Kakashiza Theatre Company "Playing with Shadow Puppets"

Residents of Tsukui Yamayuri En (Sagamihara City) and Serigaya Yamayuri En (Yokohama City), two prefectural support facilities for people with disabilities, tried their hand at shadow puppetry with Kakashiza, Japan's oldest shadow puppet theater company! This film is a documentary that follows the participants as they actively and enjoyably try their hand at shadow puppetry.

Howahowa x Taku Yamamoto "Pu-pa-po Time"

Users of the Howahowa Community Activity Support Center, run by the Yokohama Kyoseikai Social Welfare Corporation in Asahi Ward, Yokohama, and Suguru Yamamoto, a playwright and director from the theatre group Hanchu Yuei, took on the challenge of creating a theatrical production.
While deepening communication through workshops such as theater games, Taku Yamamoto discussed with the users about the setting of the play and the roles they wanted to play, and this year they wrote two scripts, "Howahowa's Crispness" and "Howahowa's Crunchy Pori Pori." This video is a documentary that films the daily activities of Howahowa, script readings at workshops, and an interview with Taku Yamamoto. Narration is provided by voice actress Mika Kanai.
