The "Minato Mirai Smart Festival," which began in 2018, is an event that brings together local companies and the community to promote the charm of "SDGs Future City Yokohama." Before the fireworks, there will be a Japanese drum performance by "Tsuzuki Taiko" and a street performance. The number of fireworks that will be launched as the finale is about 20,000 in total in about 25 minutes. The fireworks that are launched in time with the music are like watching a dazzling dance performance. ●The 34th Sakawa River Fireworks Festival
Date: Saturday, August 5th
The "Sakawa River Fireworks Festival" is held on the riverbed of the Sakawa River in Odawara City. The highlights are the highly entertaining "Music Fireworks" and the 300-meter long Niagara Fireworks. Last year, due to the impact of COVID-19, the name was changed to the "Odawara Support Fireworks Project" and the fireworks were held in several locations, but this year, 10,000 fireworks are planned to be launched as before COVID-19. At the 29th festival, the fireworks, sounds, and lights were synchronized to the heavy theme song of "The Phantom of the Opera," as if a story was being written in the night sky. Since you can see it from the riverbed, the distance is close, so the powerful fireworks spread out before your eyes. Enjoy sightseeing at Odawara Castle and other places during the day, and end the day with fireworks. It's perfect for making summer memories.
●The 49th Kanazawa Festival Fireworks Display
