「The Little Prince Museum」

This museum celebrates the loved work and life of the French writer, poet, and pioneering aviator, Antoine de Saint-Exupery.
This museum was the first museum in the world dedicated to the popular tale, and built in 1999 to celebrate the 100th year anniversary of the author`s birth.


『Romantic Starry Night』
This daily event will run between November 3, 2017 and January 1, 2018 starting from 3:30pm in the French garden, “Parque de Puchi Frans” at the Little Prince Museum.
The illumination will be centered on the the 7m Christmas tree in the center of the park.
From 5:00pm the Digital Projection Mapping will show the world of the Little Prince, and romantic scenes from this classic tale projected on the museum`s Saint Maurice de Remens building.

「Hakone Glass Museum」

This elegant museum in Hakone`s upper highlands of Sengokuhara is Japan`s first museum dedicated to the art of Venetian Glass.

There are glass pieces on display from the 15th to 18th centuries as well as a comprehensive display of Venetian glass art from the 19th century.

There is a “Glass Making” experience, exclusive art pieces and an expansive garden with a cafe to enjoy your time.


Illuminated Crystal Christmas Tree of Light and Wind
The Hakone Glass museum will present the fabulous “Crystal Glass Tree” this winter season.
An amazing 85000 pieces of crystal glass will shine and sparkle in the cool winter breeze.
In the evening, the tree will sparkle as it is illuminated under the stars.
At the same time, to celebrate the Christmas season, the central garden will be lined with festive candles from 16:00.
The romantic scene and mood will be set to enjoy your time among the warm candles and beautiful glass art.

「Hakone Outdoor Sculpture Museum」

The Hakone Outdoor Museum is a place where you can enjoy the connection between art and nature.
Walk through the magnificent sculptures of modern and classical artists on display against Hakone`s famed natural scenery.
The spacious setting let`s you enjoy the art from different perspectives and in different views.


Hakone Night Museum

In the evening on the grounds of the Open Air museum, works will be illuminated and animated by the the popular artist Takahashi Kyota.
There will be different colored lights adding to the enjoyment of the outdoor art pieces.
There will also be free flashlights available for rental that gives you an interactive color experience in different parts of the outdoor museum.
This is an event to experience and not only see, so we encourage the kids to come along and experience the art with all your senses.
Takahashi Kyota will also be participating in a planned “Artist`s Talk” on Dec 2nd and Jan 7th.
