A public workshop and talk show by Keiko Ueda, known as the first female director of the Takarazuka Revue, will be held as a special project of the "Magical Performing Arts Academy" hosted by Kanagawa Prefecture and headed by playwright and director Kensuke Yokouchi!

Kanagawa Prefecture is focusing on the cultural policy `` Magcal '' with the aim of `` attracting people with the power of culture '', but among them, the `` Magcal Performing Arts Academy '', which is responsible for the core human resource development department, aims for musicals and contemporary theater. This time, a workshop and talk show with Keiko Ueda from Takarazuka Revue, the star of the Japanese musical world, has been realized. The workshop is open to the public, so even if you are not a participant, you can observe the live instruction as a spectator. Please see below for an overview.

Takarazuka Revue director Ms. Keiko Ueda worked on the screenplay and direction of January's Tsukigumi Tokyo Takarazuka Theater production "Maion -MANON-". We are also looking for acting participants to practice this workshop.

Special talk show "The secret of Takarazuka, the future of Magcal"

The secret behind why the Takarazuka Revue continues to fascinate people after a long history is... While talking about the charm of Takarazuka, we will think about the dreams and possibilities of attracting people with the appeal of culture and art, which is the major goal of Kanagawa Prefecture's cultural policy, the magnet culture "Magcal", and creating a lively town.
