Kanagawa Prefecture presents a full-length production of "Swan Lake".
Details have been finalized for the performance of the quintessential ballet, "Swan Lake," organized by Kanagawa Prefecture. The lead roles will be played by Kanako Oki (Principal Dancer of the Tokyo Ballet) and Yasuomi Akimoto (Former Principal Dancer of the Tokyo Ballet), both from Kanagawa Prefecture, and Elizabeth Masako Paddington (Sujet of the Paris Opera Ballet), a native of Sagamihara City, will play Odile (the Black Swan).

Date : Saturday, January 16, 2026, performance starts at 3:30 PM (doors open at 2:30 PM)
Venue : Sagamihara Civic Hall (Address: 3-13-15 Chuo, Chuo-ku, Sagamihara City)
Simultaneously held : In the Sagamiko area of Midori Ward, Sagamihara City, the "Sagamiko Art and Culture Town Development (Sagamiko, the Town of Ballet)" project is underway. Taking advantage of the lake and the surrounding environment and atmosphere, they are focusing on town development through ballet, including holding the "Sagamiko Outdoor Ballet Festival." To let more people know about this initiative, a lobby exhibition of "Sagamiko, the Town of Ballet" is planned at the venue on the day of the performance.
