A moment to reflect on your own spirit on the Kamakura Noh stage
It was my first time at the Kamakura Noh stage. I transferred to the Enoshima Electric Railway from Kamakura and got off at Hase Station, where a very stylish townscape awaited me.
Everything you see is fresh and new, with Japanese sweet shops, stylish restaurants, artisan-style shops, folk craft shops, etc. After walking about 7 minutes from the station, you will arrive at the Kamakura Noh Stage.

Kamakura Noh Stage, built 50 years ago, is located in a residential area.
A place like this in a place like this!
I went inside with excitement and saw the majestic yet secluded stage, which gave me a sense of mysticism.

This time, it was a "Noh Learning Meeting for Prefectural Residents." There was a "Noh Pre-talk" by Kanta Nakamori, which made it very easy to understand and learn about Noh.
The history and stories of Noh. The slow movements, the shouts that come from the heart, the dignified beauty of silence... I felt with my body the gestures that only Japanese people can express.

What was particularly impressive was the "Kamimai" dance at "Yumi Hachiman." I was drawn in more and more as I watched.
The emotions welled up in me in a steady rhythm, and I was once again moved by the splendor of Japanese culture.
Cherish every moment and live your life while feeling the "space between." Watching Noh, I felt like I was able to face my own spirit.
Thank you for a great start to 2019.
