Regarding the application for the FY2023 Magcal Expansion Promotion Subsidy (Second Application)
In order to promote the development of "Magcul," the prefecture will begin a second round of applications for subsidies to be provided to cover the expenses required for new cultural and artistic projects carried out by private organizations.
Applications for the second round (application period June 8th to July 11th) closed at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, July 11th.
*What is Magcal?
The prefecture is promoting the Magnet Culture initiative, which aims to attract people with the appeal of culture and the arts and create a lively community.
We are promoting an initiative called "Magcal" for short.

[Project implementation] From August 28, 2023 to March 29, 2024
[Subsidy rate, etc.] Regular business: Subsidy rate of 1/3, upper limit of 1 million yen
Priority projects: Pioneering projects, projects in collaboration with seniors and people with disabilities. Subsidy rate: 50%, maximum amount: 3 million yen
Traditional performing arts projects and youth talent development projects: Subsidy rate of one-third, maximum amount of 3 million yen
