We are now accepting applications from groups wishing to use the Magcal Theater for the Reiwa 8 fiscal year (April 2026 - March 2027).
Prefectural Youth Center Studio HIKARI
You can use the Kanagawa Prefectural Art Hall!
In Kanagawa Prefecture, as part of its Magnet Culture initiative, which aims to attract people through the appeal of culture and art and create a vibrant local community, the prefecture provides Studio HIKARI at the Kanagawa Prefectural Youth Center and the Kanagawa Prefectural Art Hall to allow young people to freely present and share their work related to performing arts, with the aim of nurturing cultural and artistic talent.
We are now accepting applications for use during the Reiwa 8 fiscal year (April 2026 to March 2027).
Performing groups can use the facility's equipment free of charge to hold their performances, and depending on the facility's availability, they can also use it as a rehearsal space before their performance.
We are now accepting applications from user groups for the 2026 fiscal year.

Performing arts such as theater, dance, music, entertainment, puppet shows, dramatic readings, fashion shows, film screenings, and magic shows are arts that take place on a stage or in a physical space.
Eligibility requirements :
This includes individuals who are young people (up to 39 years old), organizations whose main members are young people, and individuals and organizations whose activities are primarily open to young people.
*Youth refers to individuals who are 39 years of age or younger as of March 31, 2027.

Kanagawa Prefectural Art Hall: 4 slots
