A moment to face your own spirit on the Kamakura Noh stage

鎌倉能舞台で、自分の精神と向き合うひと時

My first Kamakura Noh stage performance. From Kamakura, I transferred to the Enoden and got off at Hase Station, where a very stylish cityscape awaited me.
Everything you see is fresh, including Japanese sweets shops, stylish restaurants, artist-style shops, and folk art shops. After walking for about 7 minutes from the station, I arrived at the Kamakura Noh Stage.

Kamakura Noh Stage, built 50 years ago, is located in a residential area.
There's a place like this in a place like this!
When I excitedly entered the venue, I saw the stage's imposing yet quiet appearance, which gave me a mystical feeling.

This time it's ``Noh Learning Group for Prefectural Citizens''. There was a ``Noh pre-talk'' by Kanta Nakamori, so I was able to study Noh in a very easy-to-understand manner.
The history and stories of Noh. The slow movements, the shouts that come from the stomach, the beauty of the dignified silence... I physically felt the gestures that only Japanese people can express.

What was particularly impressive was the ``Kamimai'' performed by ``Yumihachiman''. As I watched it, I was drawn in more and more.
The emotion wells up in a certain rhythm. Once again, I was impressed by the wonders of Japanese culture.

Cherish every moment and live while feeling the "pause". After watching Noh, I felt that I was able to face my own spirit.
Thank you for the good start of 2019.
